Hello friends! I’m sorry for the distinct lack of posts for the last several weeks. I’ve been so busy doing some errands and secret projects lately. By the way, I have a good news to share with you all. I finally got the sewing machine, Brother XR 1300 at Costco, a few days ago. Yay! Happy dance going on here now! 😉

Here is my card that I’d like to share with you all today. I created a baby girl shower card for my sweet friend, Sharon. To make a hexagon background, I started by cutting the stamped images, which is from the PTI Happy Hexagons mini stamp set, by scissors. Then I adhered the hexagon images one by one onto the yellow-striped panel. For the focal point image, I chose the chick stamp from the Easter stamp set that I found in the $1 section at Michael’s last Easter season. Next, I heat-embossed with yellow embossing powder, and then I colored it with Copic markers. For adding an extra interest, I put the little banner saying “it’s a girl!’ on chick’s hand. The sentiment at the bottom of my card is from the PTI Signature Greetings stamp set.

I love how my card turned out. It’s so baby girl-like and lovely. What do you think? Hope you enjoyed my creation and get some inspiration. By the way, I’ve been working on Halloween hair accessories, mini scarpbook album, and lots of cards as well. Hopefully I’ll have some posts to share with you soon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great weekend! Happy crafting! 😉
