I can’t believe that this is my second post in October. Do you want to know what I’ve been doing? Actually I started sewing several weeks ago. Yes, I said sewing! At the beginning, I just wanted to have a sewing machine so that I could machine stitch around the edges of my cards. That was it! But once I had the sewing machine, I found out there are tons of things I can make with it. So now I’ve been busy exploring an amazing sewing world. 😉

So today I’d like to share with you all the card that I made with my sewing machine. You can clearly see the stitch lines in my card, right? FYI, I got the sketch from the Tuesday Morning Sketches #170, and followed the color palette from There She Goes Inspiration #179 and the Critter Color Challenge #139. As you can feel, I was creating a card in the spirit of the beautiful fall season. Autumn is my favorite time of the year, the same season I was born in.

I colored Tilda image with Copic sketch markers. I think this is the best coloring job that I’ve done ever since I started Copic coloring. I know I’m still not good enough at coloring though. There are several layers on my card so that I could have an excuse to do machine-stitching onto the papers.

It’s a pretty simple card layout. And I love my card that sends me warm fuzzies in the middle of this beautiful fall. Hope your season is filled with lots of joy and warmth.

Sometimes I think the colorings done on Tilda images are too much.
