Happy Tuesday! Last week we had a full of lovely garden creations in the entries over at CASology. And I had the honor of choosing the winner from 134 cards! You ladies seriously made my work harder with those fabulous cards. Keep it up! Now it’s time to get creative again, and here is this week’s cue card:

In the beginning, I wanted to create a belated birthday card using a clock image. But it wasn’t easy to add the minute and hour hands in a clean and simple way as I planned. Then I decided to take a easy route and came up with a super simple card.

I kept this card really “clean and simple” by using one main image with lots of empty white space remained. White space doesn’t need to be literally “white.” While I making this, I found how much I love making card with colored card base. How about you?

I cut my own clock hands out of card stock and put them together using brads. Then I attached them to the card using dimensional adhesive. Next, I stamped the sentiment from Good Times stamp set by Mama Elephant. By the way, all the cardstock I used for my card is from Papertrey Ink.

That’s all for today. I hope you play along with us this week, there is a wonderful prize up for grabs from Stamps & Scrapbooks and the winner will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge – more details are on the CASology blog. Make sure to stop by the rest of the DT’s blog for more inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
