Hi crafty friends! I’m popping in quickly with a card that I created for Waffle Flower Crafts. Here is what I came up with:

I wanted to highlight a circle image from Starry Night stamp set. So I created my own geometric pattern from circles. I love the subtle, hand-drawn look of the circles with pop of the colors. By the way, I used Rustic Cream cardstock from Papertrey Ink for my card base to achieve an oriental look. Hope you like my card and get some inspiration.

I know this is so easy to make, but I still want to share a quick tutorial on how I put together my card. 1)Draw some guide lines using pencil and ruler. 2)Stamp circles from Starry Night stamp set with Memento Tuxedo black ink. 3)Color overlapped areas with Copic markers: BG15, RV29, C5. 4)Stamp sentiment from Bowtiful stamp set and Bowtiful Additions stamp set in black, then draw some black lines around the sentient. After cutting the sentiment banner, adhere it with dimensional adhesive on the card front.

FYI, these are the stamp sets that I used for my card. Please click the image above to see more details. Well, that’s all I have today. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!

  1. You have used this simple circle so effectively! A regular circle would have been very nice, but the hand-drawn circle that you are using really adds a great look.

  2. This also reminds me a bit of the wedding quilt pattern! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
