Hello, crafty friends! It’s time for a new challenge over at CASology. Here is this week’s cue card:

Week 136 - BasketWhen I found out this week’s cue word, I immediately thought of all sorts of berries displayed in a green plastic baskets that you could easily find at a local farmer’s market. Then I came up with my own berry cards.

For my blueberry card, I first stamped circles in blue and added asterisks in black after masking off the areas. Then I drew some dash lines with green pen to mimic the green basket. I finished off the card with the sentiment from Cross My Heart set and the hearts from Purrfect Pair set by Mama Elephant.

I followed same process to make my cranberry card. Which one do you like the most? Blueberry or cranberry? I love both cards! 🙂 By the way, these are the stamp sets that I used to create my own berries:  Waffle Flower’s Flower Circles set and Mama Elephant’s Jolly and Merry set.

Now it’s your turn to play along. As always, you can interpret the cue word literally or go for something a bit more outside the box. There is a wonderful prize up for grabs from Cindy B Designs and the winner will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge – more details are on the CASology blog. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

  1. Hi, May! I love your green baskets of berries, both of them! I really adore the blueberries…we always have them on hand in our house, maybe that’s why!

  2. This is one, no, two of my favourite cards at the moment! LOVE your aerial view of your berry baskets! That is SO creative. Love the colours, love how you made the berries, love how your creative brain works! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
