Happy Monday! Welcome to Day 1 of July Release Week from Neat and Tangled. We have some AMAZING new stamps, dies, and embellishments for you! This month’s release also includes the Woof stamp set that I designed for all the dog-lovers or just those who love anything cute.

Today I have two cards showcasing the Faceted stamp set that our talented Miriam designed. For the card, I started by stamping the geometric background image on a piece of watercolor paper with VersaMark watermark ink. Then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Next, I watercolored the entire background using Distress markers.

I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of black cardstock using white embossing powder. Then I popped it up with foam tape. To finish off the card, I embellished my watercolored background with some sparkling clear sequins.

It took me much time to watercolor the entire background, but I really love how it turned out. Hope you love it, too.

By the way, this is the photo of my craft desk that I took before I adhered the sentiment on the card. Does your desk look like mine while crafting? I really believe messy desk means creative mind, don’t you? 🙂

This is my second card I made using the Faceted stamp set combined with Origami Map die. Did you notice that my card is too similar with our provisos release projects? I felt like I made it with Origami Map stamp set. Lol. 🙂

  1. Gorgeous May! I just love the soft, but bright watercoloring, and so love the background paired with the Origami Map die!

  2. This is STUNNING!! I LOVE the watercoloring you did on this. Paired with the Origami die-FABULOUS!! And yes, my desk looks like this while I am crafting. The only thing that frustrates me is that I “lose” things in the mess and have to spend time finding them!!
