Good morning crafty friends! It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for a new challenge over at CASology! Here is this week’s cue card:Screen Shot 2014-02-03 at 11.09.56 AM

I needed some help getting my creative juices flowing. So I browsed through all the ampersand images on Google, then I ran across this beautiful ampersand print image:

Doesn’t it look so fun and cute as well? Inspired by the ampersand filled with lots of images, I decided to create my own ampersand using flower stamps, since I’m really getting into the spring mood. Here is what I came up with:

I started by googleing for an appropriate ampersand typo which was bold and clean with no serif. Then I printing out the ampersand image right onto white/red card stock and fussy cut out the two ampersands. Next, I stamped the flower images on white ampersand from Mini Blooms stamp set in various colors of Hero Arts Shadow inks.

After that, I popped the floral ampersand up on foam tape, in a red layer to give some depth and interest. I finished off the card with the sentiment from Happy Hexagon Mini stamp set. Love the way my card turned out! I can proudly say that it’s CAS yet so lovely! What do you think? Hope you love my card and get some inspiration from it.
