Hi, crafty friends! Welcome to Day 2 of July Release Week from Neat & Tangled. Today I have two cards featuring the Life is Beautiful set. Here are what I came up with:

If you are one of my followers, you may know how much I love making my own backgrounds with small stamps. If not, you can see the examples HEREHERE, and HERE. (By the way, I’m entering this card into the Virginia’s View challenge #16.)

I created a single layer card by stamping various images from the Life is Beautiful stamp set. I also used some previous release: the sentiment from Kindness Matters set and small heart images from Jump Start My Heart set.

This is a processing video on how I made my card. You can watch my video tutorial here or in HD on YouTube. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up. Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, too.

Since this is my favorite stamping technique, I couldn’t help myself making another card. Same color combo but slightly different background! I had so much fun stamping all the cute images from the set. By the way, these are the ink colors I used for my cards: Mama Elephant(Buttercup, Lollipop, Pacific Blue, Fresh Mint), Hero Arts(Butter Bar), Avery Elle(New Moon).

All release products that we are showcasing this week will be available for purchase in the Neat and Tangled Shop on Friday, July 17th at 8am EST. Thanks so much for stopping by. See you again tomorrow!

  1. I love your stamped backgrounds and I’m inspired to try it myself! Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 🙂

  2. Hi May, what a treat to hear your voice! I hope you continue on future videos. Your video on creating your adorable backgrounds is so helpful. Also, the pencil you used to draw the border lines is super cute…is that a crown on top?!!
